SB County Museum unveils new exhibit about the sun

The San Bernardino County Museum has reopened, and is welcoming visitors back with a new exhibit.

“Here Comes the Sun: Solar Science and Spirituality” opened on March 18. The exhibit boasts dramatic, large-scale footage from NASA’s Solar Dynamic Observatory, which has been observing the sun since 2010. The mission is designed to help scientists understand the sun’s influence on the Earth.

The museum is now operating at 25 percent capacity, with modified hours: Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors must follow Center for Disease Control and Prevention and California Department of Public Health guidelines by wearing masks that cover the nose and mouth, using hand sanitizer, and social distancing.
