Every Saturday in February, the A.K. Smiley Public Library is presenting a special webinar for Black History Month.
It is free to register for the events, which are held on Zoom and also streamed on Facebook Live. The first event on Feb. 6 was a presentation about African American literature with Chaffey College Prof. Charles Williams.
The schedule is as follows:

Feb. 20: “Black Voice News and the History of the Black Press” with Dr. Paulette Brown-Hinds
Feb. 27: “Hidden in Plain Sight: African Americans in the Library’s Historic Collections” with Archivist Dr. Nathan Gonzales
