Mansion Memories to present a Magical Drive-Through Adventure

Mansion Memories has found a way to continue its mission through the pandemic.

The nonprofit holds Magical Day programs at the Burrage Mansion for children in their crisis and their families, but because of the pandemic, they have switched to online events open to everyone. They are going back to their roots on May 15 with a special Magical Drive-Through Adventure, with families driving through the Burrage Mansion property to explore via car storybook-themed areas featuring more than 30 characters.

“The hope is that Mansion Memories will be able to continue these drive-through programs as we wait until we can provide our normal Magical Day programs again,” Executive Director Dianna Lawson said. “We have always said as we receive more, we will do more. From my communications with the agencies we serve, it is obvious that the kids and families need something to look forward to.”

In April, Mansion Memories will open nominations for families to participate in the event. For more information or to donate, visit https://mansionmemories.org/donate —Catherine
