Through Mansion Memories, Dianna Lawson has been bringing joy to local children for years, and her efforts were recently honored by the Inland Empire Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Lawson, the executive director of Mansion Memories, received the organization’s 2020 Community Champion of the Year Award. Mansion Memories is dedicated to helping children in crisis, bringing them to the Burrage Mansion for Magical Days — special events that they can enjoy with their families.
During the pandemic, Mansion Memories has shifted its programs online, offering virtual events for all kids. Recent Making it Magical events include a tea with Alice in Wonderland characters and a drawing demonstration. —Catherine
