The Redlands Historical Glass Museum is now open by appointment only for solo visitors and groups of up to four.
The museum is still closed to the general public because of the coronavirus pandemic, but can accommodate small groups with advanced notice. Everyone who participates must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Previous visitors will also receive 30 percent off any purchase made at the museum’s gift shop.
To set up an appointment, call Bill Summers at 951-850-0915.
Founded in 1976, the Redlands Historical Glass Museum is housed inside a 1903 Victorian-style home, and showcases the largest collection of American-made glass west of the Rocky Mountains. The museum is accepting donations to help it pay for expenses like water, insurance, and electricity during the pandemic. —Catherine
