Believed to be the only Lunar New Year event in the Redlands area, festivities were free and open to all. As a truly multicultural event, many Asian countries were celebrated through performance and culinary art.

University of Redlands students performed “Tinikling,” a Filipino traditional dance; an educational skit about the Zodiacs; and a K-Pop musical act. The Phoenix Horse Lion Dance Club from Cal Poly Pomona; the Senryu Taiko Drummers from the University of California, Riverside; and Han Winmaw for Wushu also participated. —Jennifer
