Taco bout some good news!
After months of construction, diners can now get their taco and torta fix at Don Orange Tacos, 14 E. State St. Redlands’ newest restaurant opened on Friday, June 7, with an extensive menu featuring chicken, beef, seafood, pork, vegetable, and breakfast tacos and citrus-inspired cocktails.
On Instagram, the restaurant said it took three years to make Don Orange come to life, and the team lost track of the hours spent designing and creating the menu and space. “Everything about Don Orange can be spoken through the details,” they said. “The natural architectural details in the restaurant’s exposed wood beams. The creaks left in the stairs to our soon-to-come Tequila club. This is only the beginning.”
Don Orange is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday; and closed Monday. The restaurant also offers Happy Hour on cocktails, margaritas, and beer from 3 to 6 p.m. on weekdays. —Catherine
