RHIS presents spring Garden Tour and Plant Sale April 27 and 28

The Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society presents its spring garden tour, “Delectable Gardens,” on Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28.

Tickets are $15, and include admission to five home gardens, designed and maintained by the owners. At each stop, there will be live music. The tour runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with tickets $15 for adults. Children 13 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum of Redlands, 700 Brookside Ave.

On Saturday, RHIS will hold several events at the Museum of Redlands from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Flower photography by members of the Redlands Camera Club and pieces by the Citrus Belt Quilters will be on display, and there will be live demonstrations and talks on floral arrangements, how to grow mushrooms, and bees. There will also be an opportunity drawing.

The Uncommon Plant Sale will take place on Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1352 Prospect Drive, by the Carriage House in Prospect Park. RHIS will sell shrubs, perennials, bulbs, annuals, water-wise plants, and succulents. Profits from the sale will go toward RHIS projects in the community. —Catherine
