Redlands Star Search puts the spotlight on local talent

Redlands is filled with talented people, and now is your chance to shine.

Sunrise Rotary is now holding auditions for its variety talent show and benefit, Redlands Star Search. The event will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the Fox Theater in downtown Redlands. The winner will receive $1,000 and the Golden Galaxy Star Trophy.

This year’s judges are Bev Noerr, executive director of the Redlands Community Music Association; Wayne Scott, founder and president of LifeHouse Productions, and Gail DeZon, a dancer, choreographer, and teacher.

Sunrise Rotary raises money for everything from youth scholarships to leadership training to vaccinations for children around the world.

Tickets for Redlands Star Search are $35, and can be purchased online. Sponsorships are still available. For more information on how to audition, visit the Redlands Star Search website. —Catherine
