Activist and esteemed labor organizer Dolores Huerta will present the documentary about her life, Dolores, plus answer questions during a Q&A session Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the University of Redlands Memorial Chapel.
Huerta, 87, is a Medal of Freedom recipient who co-founded the first farm worker unions with Cesar Chavez. Dolores looks at Huerta’s life, how she transformed from a labor organizer to a feminist labor organizer, how she dealt with sexist double standards, and how her work affected her 11 children.
