Art, for Heaven’s Sake! festival returns Oct. 12-14

Whether you need a new painting for your living room or want to pick up a one-of-a-kind bracelet for your sister, Art, for Heaven’s Sake! will have what you are looking for.

Now in its 39th year, Art, for Heaven’s Sake! is a three-day art show and sale, held on the grounds of the Redlands United Church of Christ. The first festival was held in the living room of a church member, a fundraiser to build a new congregation. It grew in size and moved to the Redlands Medical Center, and finally to its permanent spot at the church.

More than 70 vendors will be at the festival, with jewelry, mixed media, ceramics, art glass, etching/printmaking, paintings, drawings, photography, and wood items. This year’s featured artists are Donna Hanna-Chase and Lynn Hanna, who work in fine art and fiber. Proceeds from the show fund organizations like Food for All and Get on the Bus.
