Volunteers needed to sew stockings for Redlands Community Hospital babies

If you know how to sew, Redlands Community Hospital needs your help keeping a tradition alive.

Every December, babies born at Redlands Community Hospital receive handmade stockings. The hospital is looking for volunteers to make these stockings, and the Redlands Sewing Center will hold a sew-a-thon on Saturday, Oct. 13.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., volunteers will use the Redlands Sewing Center’s machines to start cranking out stockings, and the goal is to make between 250 and 300 creations. Sewing experience is required to participate.
