A little hole in the wall with standing room only, à la minute sources fresh local ingredients from surrounding communities to craft their ice cream. The coolest part—literally—is that they use liquid nitrogen to rapidly freeze their ice cream. This process minimizes the size of the ice crystals, resulting in much creamier ice cream. à la minute is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 9:30 p.m.
