Redlands under heat advisory through Sunday night

With temperatures reaching well above 100 degrees Fahrenheit — and setting records in the process — San Bernardino County is under a heat advisory through 9 p.m. Sunday.

Sunday’s high in Redlands is expected to reach 105 degrees. A heat advisory means because of high temperatures, there’s a higher likelihood of experiencing a heat-related illness.

To stay safe, drinks lots of fluids, remain inside an air conditioned building, and stay out of the sun. Do not leave children or animals unattended in vehicles, as it can reach deadly temperatures in a car in just minutes, and check in on elderly relatives and neighbors.
